Girl hit by car while crossing road, dies in Mahabubnagar

An eight-year-old girl was killed after she was hit by a car on Hyderabad-Bangalore highway at Balangar on Friday morning.

According to the police, the accident took place at around 9.30 am when the victim was crossing the road.
The girl was rushed to a nearby private hospital, but died on the way.
Police have arrested the car driver.
