GAIL should adopt Konaseema villages : YSRCP MLA

Kothapet YSRCP MLA Ch.Jaggireddy demanded the Government of Andhra Pradesh to give all the villages in Konaseema area in East Godavari district for Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for adoption.

He met Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister N.Chinarajappa at Kakinada on Sunday.

He asked the government to immediately give the ex gratia announced for the recent Nagaram GAIL pipeline leakage victims.

The MLA requested the deputy chief minister to provide the insurance to every person in all the villages through which the gas pipelines pass through.

He demanded the government to explain the steps that are being taken to provide security to the people in the areas where GCS and oil stations are located.
