Five seriously injured as Church building caves in

Bhimavaram: An under construction church at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district collapsed on Friday leaving 20 people injured, out of which five are said to be grievously injured.

Fire tenders, municipal officials and police rushed to the spot immediately to clear the debris. People stuck under the debris were rescued and rushed to the nearest hospital.

Locals were quick to respond as they helped the government officials clear remains of the collapsed building.

Five grievously injured are fighting for their lives in hospital.
According to the fire-tenders, more people could be stuck under the debris.
