Farmers pour out their woes to Vijayamma

YSR Congress Party honourary president, YS Vijayamma visited cyclone-hit Koyyagurapadu village in Krishna district on Monday.

She met people whose lives were affected by the heavy rains due to cyclonic storm Nilam. She also examined the fields where crops were destroyed.

During the visit, Vijayamma also interacted with the farmers there to learn about their problems. She gave a patient hearing to the problems of the farmers as they poured out their woes and vented their anger over the government's inaction.

The farmers told the YSRCP honourary president that the current sad state was due to the absence of the late chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Had he been alive, they didn't have to face such problems, the farmers confided in Vijayamma.
