Farmer ends life in irrigation minister's constituency

A debt-ridden farmer from agriculture minister of Andrha Pradesh Pattipati Pulla Rao's constituency allegedly committed suicide owing to indebtedness and crop failure on Monday.

Venktramayya, from Pasamuru village in Guntur killed himself by consuming pesticide in his field.

He had borrowed loans from banks and financial institutions but failed to repay it as the crop failed due to deficient rains.
