Excise personnel attacked by illegal liquor traders

A group of excise personnel was allegedly attacked today while conducting a drive against illegal liquor trade at Saidabad in Hyderabad.

The personnel complained to police that some women, allegedly involved in the illegal liquor trade, threw chilli powder and misbehaved with them during the raid, the police said. Two cases have been registered in connection with the incident, the police said.
