Chennai Customer Gets Swiggy Delivery All The Way From Rajasthan

Chennai: In an interesting turn of events, a Chennai-resident received a Swiggy order all the way from Rajasthan. The Chennai-based customer had given an order on Sunday and when he checked the app to track his order, he found out that the delivery executive is coming all the way from Rajasthan.

Bhargav Rajan, in a post on Twitter shared an image showing Swiggy's attempt to deliver food from a Rajasthan-based restaurant. The screenshot of the tracking details offered by the app showed the delivery time as 12 minutes. Rajan tweeted with the image saying, "Wow Swiggy what are you driving?" which garnered hilarious responses from Twitter users.

The image showed that the order was of value Rs 138 and the delivery partner was driving across the country for it. Realizing the pun in the situation, Swiggy on it's Twitter account shared a tweet saying, "This seems to be the work of God of mischief Loki. In all seriousness, we have highlighted this issue and taken it very seriously and are actively working on to avoid such mishaps in the future. Thank you for bringing this to light for us Hyperion Bon appetite!"

Responding to further Twitterati jokes, SwiggyCares tweeted in response, "We'll fly to the moon and back for our customers!"
