Dy CM KE praises YS Jagan, confuses TDP
In an interesting development, Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy showered praises on YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his riposte skills in the Assembly.
The Kurnool TDP leader triggered a new round of political speculations by praising the leader of the Opposition.
In an informal chat with the media in the Assembly lobby, KE said that YS Jagan got mileage by standing up for the farmers and raising their issues. He fought for those losing lands for the new capital.
He opined that some aspects of the debate would benefit the YSRCP.
He also expressed dissatisfaction over AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for not allowing others from the party to speak in the house. He reportedly said only Chandrababu is holding forth. This would benefit YS Jagan politically.
KE's praise for YS Jagan came as a shock to the TDP who are leaving no-stone upturned to corner the YSRCP chief in the Assembly.
Speaking on the new capital, KE further said that the laying of the foundation stone for the capital would take two years time.
