KCR's hidden talent comes to the fore

Not many know that Telangana Chief Minister KCR is a consumate lyric writer.

He had penned qute a few lyrics and one of his songs was used in the movie Jai Bolo Telangana.

His song in the movie goes something like this:

"garadi chesthundru gadibidi chesthundru
gundiki dhiguthundru hey mondiki pothundru
beymaanam naayakulu bethaala manthrikulu
bazaaruna dhukindru baagotham aadindru
hey aravai yella yuddham lona poddhupodusthenu
arey yeddhu ma rathiri."

He had also penned another song for Telangana-based movie Kolimi. Now, he is taking time out of his busy schedule to pen a song. His book will form part of a CD containing lyrics on water tanks, lakes, ponds and their restoration.
"A CD of songs on the tanks’ restoration programme was being prepared and it would include a song penned by me," KCR said.
