DK Aruna hopeful of positive decision on ‘T’

Minister for Information and Public Relations D K Aruna today expressed the hope that the Centre would soon take a positive decision on separate Telangana.

The Minister, who returned to the city after three-day stay in New Delhi, told mediapersons after landing in Hyderabad that her tour to the national capital was a success.” My trip was a tremendous success,” she said.
About terming her trip to the national capital as a political one by her detractors, Aruna said “I will not attach much importance to such unfounded criticism. But I am confident that the Congress High Command will soon take a positive decision on separate Telangana,” she added.
The Minister stated that she had met several Union Ministers to demand effective implementation of schemes for the development of Mehboobnagar district. Aruna hails from the district and before leaving for Delhi she held a meeting of all the Congress leaders from Mehboobnagar.
