Digvijaya Singh replaces Azad as party affairs in-charge in AP

Congress General Secretary Digivijaya Singh has been appointed in charge, party affairs in Andhra Pradesh.

He replaces Gulam Nabi Azad in AP and also oversee affairs in other states like Goa and Karnataka.

MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has been removed from the post of AICC Secretary. Former minister G Chinna Reddy takes his place. V Hanumantha Rao has also been made AICC secretary

Congress MP from Eluru, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has been appointed as permanent invitee to the Congress Working Committee (CWC).
