Daggubati defies TSR comments over Vizag LS seat

Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, former MP and husband of Union Minister Puradhreswari on Wednesday condemned the comments by T Subbarami Reddy that they have opted Narasaraopet Lok Sabha seat for contesting in the next elections.

It may be mentioned that a controversy is brewing quite some time over Visakhapatnam LS seat between Purandhreswari and TSR as the both have intention to contest from there. Daggubati made it clear that they have never asked for Narasaraopet LS seat as claimed by Subbarami Reddy. 

Daggubati said they would follow whatever the decision taken by the party high command in connection with contesting in the elections. He reminded that TSR had written a letter to the party high command in 2009 itself not to give Visakha parliament seat to Purandhreswari. He also alleged that Subbarami Reddy was arrested for selling cement allotted for Nagarjuna Sagar project in black market and his agenda was to make money through loopholes in the project contracts. He said they would abide by the decision of the party high command over the Vizag LS seat.
