Congress ousts five families for backing YSRCP - Sakshi Post

Local body polls are over and results have also been announced. While people who won the sarpanch posts are having a good time, the losers are a worried lot.

However, our report is about ruling party's conniving ways to get back at those who don't support them. It is learnt that the Congress has decided to take a revenge against the families who failed to vote their party. Villagers forced to leave for not supporting Congress in some parts of AP.

In Guntur district, five families were forced to leave their village. YSRCP candidate won the Alluru Redlapalem village post in PV Palem mandal with a majority of 14 votes over his Congress supported rival.

Village heads turned Congress men, forced the five families to leave the village charging them for not supporting them. The five families brought this to the notice of the District collector and SP who intervened and settled the matter. However, the five families have been banned from buying milk or buy any household stuff.

If you are wondering what happened to the sarpanch who they elected, well he's down with viral fever and in a helpless state.

The families alleged that with the support of the Congress party, they are being treated as outcast in their own village.
