Cong sending Azad to meet with Owaisi

Congress government in the state has had to faced a major political shock as its long-term ally, the MIM's (Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) withdrew support to  it.

In bid to pacify MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi , the Congress High Command is sending its trouble shooter and AICC in-charge of Andhra affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad to Hyderabad to and submit a detailed report on the state politics to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.

According to reports , the AICC in-charge will be coming to Hyderabad anytime in this week.

Azad is expected to hold meetings with the state leaders, supposedly over the latest developments on the MIM's support withdrawal to the party.
He will also take stock of the party position in the state by talking to various sections in the Congress.

Talking to media-persons rafter MIM's withdrawal, Azad said he tried to get in touch with the MIM chief  Asaduddin Owasi, however, he was not available.

MIM had only expressed its views and he would hold talks to persuade it to reconsider its decision, he added.
