CM's path laden with obstacles - Sakshi Post

Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy faced an attack from the CPM leaders, who allegedly  made an attempt to enter the RMD guest house (Khammam) where CM was staying.

They also stopped the CM's convoy in protest, demanding free houses for poor. However, the police forces erected blockades at the gate and prevented the CPM members from proceeding further.
Hundreds of villagers gathered at many places and raised slogans against CM Kiran Kumar Reddy insisting on payment of pension for senior citizens. Police lathicharged and arrested CPM leaders and villagers. In the lathicharge, CPM member Ramesh got fractured and many of the tribal injured including two women. Angered by this, many villagers raised slogans against the CM. This led to a heated argument between the agitators and the police officials. The situation remained tense for several hours. Similar scenes were witnessed yesterday as well.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has been facing flak wherever he goes. He is in Khammam on a three-day visit as part of his Indiramma Baata programme.
