City malls asked to ensure better security

The Hyderabad police conducted extensive raids in big shopping malls in the city on Tuesday to check security readiness following apprehensions that some malls are not even having minimum facilities.

The police combed several malls including Central, City Central and Ameerpet Bigbazar. Sources said that the police found loopholes in the security set up at some malls after conducting secret checks.

The police have instructed the mall authorities to conduct thorough checkups and beef up their security apparatus.
