Chaos breaks out over T Bill, RS adjourned for sixth time - Sakshi Post

Proceedings in Rajya Sabha was adjourned yet again for the sixth time after continuous ruckus over Telangana Bill rocked the House. Deputy Chairman of the upper house Kurian took the decision due to the agitation of Seemandhra MPs.

Another MP Sujana Chowdhury said that they want constitutionally valid bill, but not improper bill.

Kurian added that the bill came to the house amid the serious protests. BJP leader Arun Jaitely gave notices that the bill is not valid constitutionally.

Deputy Chairman of the house read out the notices submitted by all the members.

In order to avoid any untoward incidents, the marshals were deployed around the podium of the chairman. Some MPs from Telangana shielded  the Union Minister for Home Affairs Sushilkumar Shinde, as the latter tried speaking about the Bill.

As soon as Panel Chairman Renuka Chowdhury entered the House, live broadcasting of the proceedings were stopped for a while.  She adjourned the House for ten minutes.
