Chandrababu to take decision on loan waiver today?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu could take the final decision on waiving off loans of farmers in the state on Monday.

He will meet the bankers on Monday evening and seek their permission to pay a part of the loan arrears for the present.

The state government is requesting the bankers to waive off loans as per their directions with the raider that the government would pay back all the loan amounts of farmers in a phase-wise manner.

The officials of various banks have already issued an ultimatum that 14 per cent interest would be levied if the farmers can’t pay back their loans.

A clear picture on loan waiver is likely to emerge by Monday evening after the end of bankers meeting with Chandrababu.
