Case booked against TDP leader Revanth Reddy - Sakshi Post

The Banjara Hills Police on Tuesday registered a case against Telangana TDP leader Revanth Reddy on charges of trying to defame Telangana CM KCR. This was done following the directions of a court. 

Govardhan, an advocate, filed a petition in the Nampally court alleging that he passed some derogatory remarks against KCR and his son KTR and that action be taken against him. The 3rd chief metropolitan magistrate court directed the police to file the charges against KCR and submit a report before September 6.

Following the direction, the Banjara Hills police on Tuesday registered a case under sections 504, 505 of the IPC.
The TDP leader leveled serious allegations against KCR saying that he had received Rs 100 crores as bribe from the engineering and medical college managements to hike fee for the management and NRI seats in the colleges.
