Casanova MLA spreads a web of fear for women in Kurnool

Women in Kurnool district are a scared lot, and a Congress MLA is to be blamed for their predicament. This particular MLA visits various schools and Government offices in the name of surprise visits. But apparently his only motive is to harass the women staff of the office he visits.

Once he reaches a particular place he will make it mandatory for all the employees, especially women to attend meetings with him. He also threatens those women who refuse to attend the meeting, with suspension. In the meeting he would take only women employees' numbers, and after sometime would call and harass them over the phone.
Exasperated at this constant harassment, many women either quit their posts or seek transfers.
Recently, the MLA, in his forties, sent vulgar messages to a woman employee. The lady showed the abusive messages to Zilla Parishad head, and also lodged a complaint, but to no avail. Unable to bear the ill-treatment, she shifted to a different district.
Similarly, in another incident, the MLA again misbehaved with a teacher of a Zilla Parishad high school, but the latter retaliated strong. When questioned in public, the MLA quickly muttered apologies and left the place.
The much married MLA also troubled another teacher from Kasturba School. When she reacted and spurned his advances, the MLA complained to her higher authorities and said that she was not doing her work properly. 
The women, wringing their hand in desperation say that they cannot approach the police as the MLA belongs to the ruling party and is highly influential.  Unable to bear his misdemeanors, the women employees are planning to approach State Human Rights Commission.
