Car Goes Up In Flames Near AP CM’s Camp Office

A car went up in flames on the embankment road close to the camp office of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Undavalli of Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district on Friday afternoon.

Flames billowed out of a Mahindra XUV with a Karnataka registration number on the Karakatta (Embankment) Road. An alert driver saw the flames and immediately stopped the vehicle. He safely evacuated those inside the vehicle. The car got completely burnt. Sources said the car was coming from Rayapudi.

The police, who saw the car go up in flames, rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. Further details are awaited.
