Bulbul App Becomes Kids Favorite

Hyderabad: In this ultra-modern era, even kids are seen engrossed with tablets or smartphones for entertainment and learning.To make this digital learning to good use Telugu filmmaker, Prakash Dantuluri has come up with a 'Bulbul' app which caters the need for small kids wherein even pre-scoolers can also get entertained.

Creator of the app, Prakash Dantuluri says that he wants the children aged between six and nine years to explore their creativity levels and raise their curiosity. 

He said since he enjoys visual narration, he wanted to design a feature in the digital medium which is unique yet should have a personal touch and that led to the origin of Bulbul app. The app is an amalgamation of storytellers, animators and voice artists who come together and put a beautiful story for the children to enjoy and learn.     

Bulbul app was launched five months ago, and its Facebook page has over 50,000 followers and more than a million views on YouTube. The followers are not just Indians, but 30 percent of them belong to Pakistan. 

Impressed by their Krishna series, the app creators been approached by a Chinese content aggregator who would place it in the category of 'Indian Stories'. One of the successful stories by Bulbul which became the number one e-book across 14 different countries is 'Princess and the Pea'.
