Botsa unhappy with excise hike on liquor

Now that government issued order for increasing the excise duty on liquor, the differences between Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee chief Botsa Satyanarayana and Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy seem to be surfacing again.

The PCC chief is planning to write a letter to the Chief Minister demanding the government withdraw the order increasing excise duty on liquor.

The order had come in to effect from December 1. Botsa said  that with the increase in prices, poor people will be lured to cheap liquor.
