Botsa hints at more resignations from ministers

PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana on Tuesday hinted at more resignations from tainted ministers, whose names have been figured in the CBI charge-sheet.

Referring to Ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy, Botsa said they voluntarily resigned and no one removed them. They had tendered their resignations long back, but the party heads kept in pending owing to some reasons. The party was ready to bear the losses with resignations of two ministers and it would face further such challenges if any. A final decision would be taken to accept resignations only after observing legal matters, the PCC chief said.

Botsa said the party would not drag its decision with regard to leaders who wished to quit the party. Many leaders had left the party and those who were in the party were continuing in the party with confidence in the party’s principles. Replying to a question, Botsa said he was more interested to continue as PCC president than a minister.
