Assembly to be extended for a year?

Hyderabad, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana, Mahidhar Reddy and other congress leaders convened for a meeting at Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy's residence on Tuesday.

According to reports, the leaders discussed party's strategy for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections that will be held in February.

According to sources, a congressman also quipped that the state division is definite and soon two different governments will be formed, and that the state assembly might actually be prolonged for a year. 

The elections will take place only after that, he said. 

Meanwhile,three members will contest from congress for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and fourth candidate will be announced only after YSR Congress Party and TRS reveal their names.
