AP division: APNGOs threaten flash strike - Sakshi Post

The Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association (APNGOs) district unit has threatened to go on a flash strike any day if the Centre speeds up the process of state bifurcation.  APNGOs Krishna district president A Vidyasagar told reporters here last evening that they did not call off their strike earlier, but had only taken a break (due to cyclone Phailin).

He said the agitation could be intensified by all government employees including transport and electricity employees from Seemandhra region on any move by the Union government to speed up the process of division of the state. The Centre had earlier approved creating a new Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh. Though the APNGOs have given their strike a break, they still continued protests and agitations in other forms, he said, adding that they will hold a meeting today to discuss further course of action.
