Four killed as tractor overturns

Four persons were killed when a tractor in which they traveling overturned at Venkatapuram in Medak district in the wee hours of Monday. Four passengers died on the spot and three others seriously injured. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

The bodies of those deceased were sent to the district government hospital for autopsy.  All the deceased were farmers.

Warangal jail inmate attempts suicide

A prisoner tried to end his life at a district jail in Warangal, reports said today. He had been taken into custody in connection with a theft case on Sunday.

It is learnt that he tried to commit suicide out of fear. Other inmates in the jail rescued him.

Cylinder blast in Gajuwaka kills two

A cylinder blast at Official Colony, Srinagar in Gajuwaka of Vishakapatnam has claimed two lives. The tragedy struck on Sunday evening.

The victims include—a woman named Jayamma and Raju a balloon seller. The duo was getting a cylinder refill while the tragedy struck. While Raju died on the spot, Jayamma suffered injuries and was shifted to KGH for treatment. It is learnt that Jayamma too breathed her last today after battling for life.

Bike rams into devotee in Mahbubnagar

A  devotee was killed and another injured when a bike rammed into them near Pulluru of Manavapadu mandal in Mahbubnagar district on Monday morning.

It is leant that the devotees were on their way to Srisailam by walk. The injured devotee has been admitted at a nearby hospital for treatment.

Auto-van collision kills two in Visakhapatnam

Two people died on the spot and 10 others were injured in a auto-van collision at Chodapalli near Achyutapuram of Visakhapatnam.

The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. The condition of those hurt is said to be out of danger. The details of the victims are yet to be ascertained.
