Aadarana Orphanage Owner Held For Molesting Minor Inmate

Hyderabad: In yet another incident close on the heels of sexual assault in Malkajgiri orphanage recently, the founder of 'Aadarana' was arrested on Monday for molesting a class 9 girl in the orphanage in Malakpet.

According to a complaint lodged by the victim, the accused Jadi Madhava Rao, founder of 'Aadarana' orphanage would often call her to his room on the premises and molest her. The accused Rao founded the home for orphans and poor students in 2003.

Police registered a case and are investigating if Rao had molested any other girl in the orphanage. The accused was arrested under relevant sections of IPC and will be produced before court on Tuesday.

Recently, 'Aadarana' new building was inaugurated by Telangana Home Minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy at LB Nagar.
