A new twist in attempt to murder case - Sakshi Post

Investigations into the case of attempt to murder of Dharmavaram Congress leader Sudhakar Reddy took a new twist as police suspect the involvement of another TDP MLA.

According to Dharmavaram DSP Navab Jan, several details which emerged during the investigations now point to the possibility of Kadiri TDP MLA Venkata Prasad's hand in the plot.

It is learnt that the TDP MLA had given shelter Nagoor Hussain the prime accused in the case.

The DSP also said that they would open rowdy-sheets against TDP MLA Paritala Sunitha's son Sriram and other accused after the investigations were completed.

"We have arrested six others in the same case. We recovered one gun, nine bullets and hunting sickles from them," Navab Jan said.
