3 held for consuming alcohol in Srikalahasti temple

In a glaring example to the apathy of the temple managements in the State, three persons were nabbed while consuming alcohol inside the Srikalahasti temple in Chittoor district on Sunday.

Security personnel apprehended three persons with liquor bottles in an inebriated condition at ticket counter of Rahu kethu pooja.  When there was tight security at the temple entrance and thorough checking, how the culprits managed to bring the liquor bottles inside the temple was a question raised by several devotees. The accused would be handed over to the police after completing the investigation.
