2 Woman Labourers Killed As Cellar Wall Of Under-Construction Building Caves In

In a tragic incident, the cellar wall of a multi-storeyed building caved in while a pit was being dug killing two women labourers. The incident occurred near the Kothaguda Crossroads of Madhapur in Hyderabad.

The deceased have been identified as Bharatavva (35) and Kishtavva (22). Four other persons, who suffered injuries, remain critical. Four persons, also working in that place, had a miraculous escape.

Officials suspect that few more persons could be trapped under the debris of the caved in cellar and are making efforts to rescue them.

There are allegations galore that the contruction work did not have proper supervision and the locals are expressing anger at the builders. They have demanded action against the builders.
