2 Students From Hyderabad Drown In Ukraine

Ukraine: Two students from Hyderabad drowned in Ukriane when they ventured into a treacherous sea to rescue another of their friend while playing volleyball on the beach.

Shivakanth Reddy and Ashok Kumar were playing volleyball in a beach with their friends. While playing, Mukesh went into the water to fetch the ball which fell in the water and was caught in the receding tidal water. On seeing his friend struggling for life in the sea, Shivakanth and Ashok tried to rescue him, but they were swept away in the powerful tides after pushing Mukesh to safety.

The victims were pursuing MBBS final year in Ukraine. While Shivakanth Reddy hailed from Hayathnagar, Ashok Kumar belonged to BN Reddy Nagar in the city.
