BJP leader T Raja Singh - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Goshamahal MLA and BJP leader T Raja Singh, who is known for his controversial statements recently released a teaser to a song he lent his vocals to. Dedicating the song to Indian Armed Forces,

Raja Singh released the song titled ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ on Sunday to mark the occasion of Sri Rama Navami. However, the song garnered criticism, surprisingly from Pakistan army’s major general and director general (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asif Ghafoor.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, he posted, “Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well #PakistanZindabad...(sic)”. The post suggested that Raja Singh’s song was copied from the Pakistani song ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

The song referred by the Pakistan DG was earlier shared by Pakistan’s military’s PR wing on March 22 to commemorate Pakistan Day also known as the country’s Republic Day, which falls on March 23.

The Twitter users compared the two songs and found similarities which the major changes only in terms of lyrics particularly noticeable is the replacement of the word ‘Pakistan’ with ‘Hindustan’.

However, responding to the copy claims, Raja Singh took to Twitter stating that he doesn’t need to copy anything from a terrorist state like Pakistan.
