SI Ranganath Goud dismissed from service

Ranganath Goud, a Sub-Inspector of Police working in Guntur range, has been dismissed from service. Guntur range IG P.Sunil Kumar issued orders dismissing him from service.

Goud was working as SI at Ponnur in Guntur district.

One Razia Sultana gave a complaint to the higher authorities in police department that the SI had cheated her after promising to marry her.

When the Police did not respond, Razia agitated with the help of some women organisations. With this, the higher authorities ordered an enquiry into the incident, and Goud was found guilty.
