SC/ST sub-plan is ploy to lure votes: Motkupalli

TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu said in the Assembly on Saturday that the Congress Party is against Dalits.

He criticised the Congress government saying that it was diverting funds meant for SC and ST welfare to other programmes in the state.

Motkupalli said that this SC/ST  sub plan is an attempt to lure votes from these communities in the 2014 general elections. He questioned as to why the government had not taken any action against TJAC chief Kodandaram who made derogatory remarks against minister Geetha Reddy.
