Parliamentary committee to review security in Tirumala - Sakshi Post


The Parliamentary standing committee members are in Tirumala to review the security arrangements in the hill town pilgrimage Centre. The Committee post darshan of Lord Venkateshwara, reviewed security in the temple vicinity as well as devotees' passage.

The committee president, Venkaiah Naidu, addressed the media on Friday morning and said he will request the Centre to stop movement of planes in Sriharikota and Tirupati as a security protocol. He also said that he will discuss internal security issues during a meeting with Advani, who's scheduled to visit Tirumala this evening.
