Owaisi says he has stomach ache

Akbaruddin Owaisi, MIM MLA of Chandrayangutta constituency who is in jail for his alleged hate speech, on Friday complained of stomach pain. Owaisi told District Judge Madhusudan who visited the Adilabad sub jail that he was suffering from stomach ache.

The judge directed the jailor to arrange for immediate medical treatment. A special team of doctors from RIMs examined him and stated that it was due to indigestion.

In another development, a court in Nirmal town in Adilabad district has sent Owaisi to five day police custody.
