The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi has made a clean sweep of rural local body elections in Telangana, securing majority in all district-level bodies. The TRS was way ahead of main opposition Congress in the elections to Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituencies (MPTCs) and Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituencies (ZPTCs) as the counting of votes was taken up on Tuesday.

The victims were identified as Sai Kumar and Vinay who hailed from Kudakuda village in Suryapet district.

A man set ablaze a motorcycle in the city on Monday after the owner of the vehicle reportedly refused to lend it. The incident took place at Himayatnagar, Street No. 1 in Narayanguda. Going into the details, Avinash Reddy, who owns the vehicle resides in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. A local resident, B Anand approached him on Monday night to lend his motorbike.
