'Farmers' welfare was always on top of YSR's mind'

On her second day of padayatra, Sharmila said that the welfare of farmers was top on late chief minister, YS Rajasekhara Reddy's mind. This was irrespective of his position, she added.

While addressing a huge gathering at Vempalli, Sharmila said that the present power crisis in the state was due to the government's lack of foresight. People aren't able to have a sound sleep because of the power situation, she said. There would be more such problems if the people continued to place their confidence  in TDP or Congress, she asserted. Sharmila also met up with students in Nandipalle to know about their problems.
