Dharmana, Sabita custody petition adjourned to July 1 - Sakshi Post

The CBI Special court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing on the CBI memos seeking judicial custody of former ministers Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabita Indra Reddy in connection with the quid pro quo case to July 1.

It may be recalled that the both ministers filed memos in the court asking the court to direct the CBI to submit the original CDs that were submitted before the court as evidence.

Following the court orders, CBI submitted video clippings of press conferences addressed by them in which they claimed innocence.

Earlier, the CBI filed memos in the CBI special court at Nampalli seeking judicial custody on June 7. Taking the cognizance of the fifth chargesheet, Sabita attended court twice along with 11 others. She was charged with allotting 407 acres in Kadapa district as a minister for mines. Dharmana Prasada Rao too was facing charges in Vanpic case.
