Hyderabad: Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit the national capital on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the CMO said in a statement on Sunday. He will discuss with the All India Congress Committee (AICC) top leaders about the expansion of the state cabinet.

The party has allocated the portfolios to the 11 ministers and the talks will likely revolve around the expansion of the cabinet to fill up six more berths. Revanth Reddy will likely discuss the names of newly elected MLA to be inducted into the cabinet. However, it’s not clear when the cabinet expansion will take place.

It’s worth mentioning here that the Revanth Reddy cabinet is nearly all-inclusive as Muslim representation has not found place in the State cabinet. Among the Muslims leaders, two names are doing the rounds for inclusion in the council of ministers. The Congress party may accommodate senior party leader Mohammed Ali Shabbir or former MP Mohammed Azharuddin into the cabinet.
