Hyderabad: Rotary Club Holds Motor Fest to Support Kids with Heart Conditions

Hyderabad: As part of its philanthropic activities, the Rotary Club of Lake District Moinabad organised a National Autocross Championship dubbed Motor Fest in Hyderabad to raise funds for the treatment of children suffering from congenital heart disease. The event, held over the weekend, brought together racing enthusiasts, rotary leaders and charitable organisations to support a noble cause.

The National Autocross Championship was held at Boulder Hills Golf Course on a custom-built race track.The three-day event concluded on Sunday. Through this Autocross Championship initiative, the Rotary Club of Lake District Moinabad raised funds for the treatment for children awaiting heart surgeries at Sathya Sai Hospital in Siddipet. 

The Rotary Club aims to set up an operation theatre facility at the hospital and the total cost of the project is Rs 7.5 crore. After the setting up of the facility, the children with congenital heart disease will be provided free treatment at the hospital.
