 - Sakshi Post

YSR Telangana party chief YS Sharmila has assured that he will fight for the land rights of tribal farmers. As tghe daughter of the late Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, Sharmila assured that she would stand by them until the land issues in the area were resolved.

Sharmila was speaking at the Podu Bhoomula Rythu Bharosa Yatra organized on Wednesday in Lingal of Mulugu district. She alleged that CM KCR had introduced Dalit Bandhu for votes in Huzurabad bypolls and that the issue of drought was not resolved as there were no elections in the tribal areas.

Sharmila also said that KCR, who had promised to go to the tribal villages himself and talk and solve this problem, had forgotten all about them after reaching his farm house.

She also said that the Forest Rights Act introduced during the Rajasekhara Reddy regime was excellent and questioned why the law was not implemented when TRS came to power.

She also lashed out at the KCR government for filing false cases against 20 women for questioning the government on land issues in Kothagudem district.

Sharmila vowed to stand by tribals and fight for their rights. The event was attended by party state spokesperson Indira Shobhan, state committee member Kalpana Gayatri, Mulugu conveners Banot Sujatha Mangilal and Mahabubabad Parliament co-convener Ramasahayam Srinivas Reddy.
