TRS MLA Son Vanama Raghava Taken Into Police Custody

Vanama Raghavendra Rao, son of TRS MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao was taken into custody by Bhadradri Kothagudem district police. Raghava was on the run from police after being charged in an abetment to suicide case. It is all known knowledge that a businessman committed familicide at Old Paloncha in Kothagudem district on Monday. He named his mother Suryavathi, sister Madhavi, and Vanama Raghava in his suicide note.

Before committing suicide with his family, the victim, Ramakrishna released a selfie video and said that Raghavendra Rao tortured him and forced him to send his wife to him to fulfill his sexual desires. Eight teams have been formed to trace the accused and with the credible information, police apprehended Raghavendra Rao at Dammapeta Mandal, Mangalapalli X Roads on Friday.

Bhadradri Kothagudem ASP Rohit in a press meet said that Raghava will be produced in front of the Magistrate today. He will be shifted to jail according to the verdict given by the Magistrate. He also said that Vanama Raghava has confessed the crime.

Girish, Murali, Chava Srinivas, and Ramakanth helped Vanama Raghavendra Rao for his escape and cases have been filed against them under section 212 - Harbouring offenders. During the investigation, the police questioned various issues. Vanama Ragha will be produced in court today. ASP said that 12 cases have been registered against Vanama Raghavendra Rao and has got crucial information.
