Telugu Student Dies in US Water Accident

In a heartbreaking incident, Venkataramana Pittala, a 27-year-old student from Kazipet, Telangana met with a fatal accident while indulging in water games in Florida, America. Son of Pittala Rajaganesh, Venkataramana had embarked on a journey to pursue higher education in the United States from August last year. He was enrolled in the Master's in Informatics course at Indiana University and was set to graduate in May 2024.

Tragedy struck on the 9th of this month as Venkataramana was in Florida enjoying water games with his friends when a speeding individual in a jet ski collided with him, causing him to fall in the water and tragically lose his life. The news of his untimely death was confirmed to his family by the Indian Embassy officials on Monday night.

Venkataramana's family shared that they were informed about Venkatramana's body being sent to India and were expecting it to arrive by the 18th or 19th of this month. The loss of a promising young individual with a bright future ahead has shocked the community and brought immense grief to his family.
