APGenco Registers Record Electricity Generation in 24 Hours

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGenco) has registered a record level of electricity generation in the state. APGenco has generated 105.620 million units (5,137 MW) of electricity on Saturday. A total of 114 million units of electricity was generated in 24 hours — Friday night (12 am) till Saturday night (12 am).

This is the first time after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state that the APGenco has achieved a record level of electricity generation within 24 hours.

Taking to Twitter, APGenco Managing Director KVN Chakradhar Babu thanked the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Energy minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and the officials of the Central Railway and Coal Ministries for extending their full support.
