2 Held With Rs 1 Crore In Delhi Metro Station - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: Two persons were detained for carrying unaccounted cash worth Rs. 1 crore from Jangpura metro station in Delhi on Thursday, October 24.

According to the reports, the accused have been identified as Vikas Chauhan (20) from Rajasthan and Aarti (20) from Madhya Pradesh.

The incident came to light when their bag were scanned in the X-ray machine for security check. CISF personnel noticed huge amount of cash stacked in the bag. The duo were interrogated and police officers became suspicious of the answers, Hemendra Singh, Assistant Inspector General, CISF said.

CISF personnel handed over the sum to the Income Tax department and an inquiry is underway the case.
