 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Congress legislative party leader and party candidate Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu won the Madhira (SC) constituency seat. He defeated Kamal Raju Lingala of BRS and Perumallapalli Vijayaraju of BJP with a majority of 35,000 votes in the tightly contested election.

Madhira segment recorded a voter turnout of 87.93% in the November 30 Telangana assembly polls. Bhatti Vikramarka had defeated Kamal Raju of BRS in the 2018 elections too.

After winning elections, Bhatti Vikramarka told reporters that the Congress would fulfill its election promises. He said the Dorala Palana (rule by feudal lords) is gone as the electorate has chosen Prajala Palana (rule by people). He added that if the chief ministership is given, he will happily take up the top job. It's worth mentioning here that Bhatti is one of the top contenders for the top job in Telangana.
