BLACKPINK Members To Renew Their Contract With YG Entertainment

 - Sakshi Post

BLACKPINK is in the process of having its contract with YG Entertainment renewed. When all of their members' contracts were up for renewal, the agency made some significant changes.

YG Entertainment's decision to renew BLACKPINK's contract has captured the interest of many fans. The contract will soon expire in August 2023, but there is good news in that YG Entertainment and the group are now in talks about a new contract.

There were rumours about BLACKPINK joining the THEBLACKLABEL division of YG Entertainment, which also features Taeyang of BIGBANG and solo female artist SOMI, when their contract with their agency expired.

Fans of BLACKPINK expressed concern that YG Entertainment's silence over the group's contract renewal may lead to an outcome similar to that of the boy band iKON, which saw all six of its members quit YG Entertainment on December 30, 2022. However, it now looks that the company is making efforts to keep BLACKPINK and its members in YG.
