Telangana CM-designate Revanth Reddy to Resign as Malkajgiri MP
New Delhi: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and Telangana CM-designate Revanth Reddy met the Lok Sabha Speaker Chief Whip K Suresh at the Parliament on Wednesday. Reddy, who is a sitting Congress MP from Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency is expected to resign as a Member of Parliament before his swearing-in ceremony in Hyderabad tomorrow.
Revanth Reddy, who was elected leader of the Congress Legislature Party, arrived in the national capital this morning and went to the residence of Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) chairperson Sonia Gandhi to meet her. He also met the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge and invited them to his oath-taking ceremony.

Reddy was elected from the Kodangal Assembly seat in the recent Telangana assembly elections. He led the Congress party to a stupendous victory in Telangana bagging 64 assembly seats and dashed the hopes of KCR scoring a hat-trick win in the state polls.
